G.I. Jobs®, the premier resource for helping transitioning service members find success in civilian careers, released its fourth annual Top 25 Hot Jobs For Veterans™ list. The 2016 Top 25 Hot Jobs For Veterans™ list includes jobs for which Fortune 1000 companies most actively recruit post-9/11 military veterans. The list will be published in the April issue of G.I. Jobs® and can be viewed online at www.gijobs.com/top-25-hot-jobs-for-veterans-2016.

"Positions on the 2016 Top 25 Hot Jobs list focus less on military occupational skills and more on intangible skills and attributes gained through military training: teamwork, leadership, effective communication, and trainability," said Daniel Nichols.

This year's Hot Jobs range from those in skilled manufacturing and engineering, business operations and management, healthcare and more. The Top 25 Hot Jobs For Veterans™ were derived from proprietary data gathered through 2016 Military Friendly® Employers survey responses submitted by Fortune 1000 companies. The results speak to the variety of opportunities open to post-9/11 service members and dispel common misconceptions about what today's military can─or should─do after leaving the service.

This year, Business Operations Manager reaches the top of the list for the first time, replacing Information Technology Specialist, which drops to the second spot. In addition, the position of Asset Protection Officer debuts on the list at #8.
